Fun at the Northwest Art League Spring Show!

Wini White is always our stalwart, dependable gatekeeper. She takes the entry fees as the artists come in the door! Suzanne Balluck did another fine job organizing this show. We would like to thank her for all her hard work.

Registration is an involved process that takes a LOT of time that people who enter the show do not realize. This is the spacious registration area that we have at the MET Baptist church. We would like to thank them for letting us have our show here.

President Connie McMahan helps entrant Mary Friday get her pieces registered. Mary had a bone spur removed and was a little incapacitated!

Leo and Margaret Oringderff make a wonderful welcoming commitee at the front door!

I caught Dorothy Lyons registering her artwork. A fateful moment since she went on to win BEST of SHOW! Congratulations , Dororthy!

Connie added some sparkle to our registration with her sparkle lined pockets on her jeans!

It takes a village to put on one of these shows. Here are Suzanne Balluck, show chaireperson, with Carol Hoyland, our Newsletter Editor, and Dorothy Lyons, our video tape librarian, double checking the winners for any errors.

It was standing room only for our awards ceremony and critique.

Our Judge was AJ Schexnayder. This is one of his artwork pieces. AND , below, AJ critiques Dorothy Lyons' Best Of Show Winning entry at the awards ceremony and critique.

Hanging the ribbons is a big job too! We need several people so that they double check the judge's list and the artwork before hanging the ribbons. Here are Anita Burgess, RaAnn Laine and her daughter Erin. Erin was also a BIG help entering the entries into the database on the computer.

AJ critiques Jerry Sue Greenhill's Kerstyn Wyman Memorial Best Watercolor award winner.
